About My Clients
My ideal Client is willing and eager to dive deep into their trauma, working with me to clear it out. My Clients who get those most out of our sessions are those who approach therapy with an open mind to learn and follow through with suggested assignments between sessions.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with a lot of people from many walks of life, with different life experiences. No two experiences are ever the same. You are the expert in the room when it comes to your life, your perspective, and your experience of it. It is my responsibility as well as privilege to understand how you have experienced your life -- no assumptions and no judgments. Together, we will set therapy goals, tailored to you. Through the process, you are the driver, and I will help with the navigation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am also a survivor, and I’d like to add — a thriver. My experiences don’t define me, but I have changed the narrative from “what once broke me” to “what has built me.” I don’t credit my experiences, though, as nobody should. In my opinion, the credit is owed to the survivor who rebuilt and thrived. Just the same, you have the choice to level up from “victim” to “survivor” to “thriver.” And I’ll be here with you when you’re ready to reach those next levels. I hope to work with you soon.
