About My Clients
I have a passion for working with teens, young adults, and couples moving through transitional and trying times in their lives. Specifically, I have helped clients work through a variety of issues not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Loneliness, Low Self-Esteem, Troubled Childhood, Problem Thoughts, Personal Growth, Life Transitions, Grief & Loss, Exploring Sexuality/Sexual expression, Conflict Resolution, Relationship Issues, Death & Dying, and Career Transitions.
My Background and Approach
I typically work from an eclectic approach: primarily utilizing person-centered and solution-focused techniques in developing a plan for treatment with clients. Also, I am certified in Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) Basic and Core Self as well as, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1: Bridging the Couple Chasm.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Counseling is an opportunity to grow, heal, and flourish! Each and every client brings their own unique strengths to the table and I believe that these attributes can be leveraged in order to create a better quality of life. Working together, we can develop strategies and coping skills that establish healthy habits to approach the various hurdles that life throws our way. When I am not working, I am outside playing with my pup, gardening, traveling, or enjoying quality time with my friends and family. I love any opportunity to get creative and collaborate!
