About My Clients
My passion is assisting individuals and couples transition through different stages of adult life by either developing or maintaining supportive connections in their relationships as well as expanding understanding of their own needs. Often this takes place in the form of relationship therapy with more than one person in the session (couple, family, co-workers) other times it takes place during individual sessions.
My Background and Approach
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Candidate (MFTC). I graduated from the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) program at Regis University in 2022 and have been practicing with clients since 2021. In addition to the training in my graduate program I have completed the Gottman Institute’s Level 1 and 2 Clinical Foundations in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I work from an integrated approach that pulls heavily from the Gottman Method of Relationship Therapy while also focusing on emotions. My integrated approach gives voice to personal experience and explores ways in which this experience impacts your relationship with others and yourself. We can then utilize this understanding to explore ways in which an increase in communication and validation of our individual experience can increase feelings of love and support within our relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an ally of the LGTBQIA2S+ communities and welcome all personal identifications and relationship configurations. I consider myself a secular therapist and personally identify as agnostic. I welcome all faith backgrounds.
