About My Clients

Grief can strike at anytime, any place to anyone; be it death, a break up, or any other type of loss or trauma. Under that grief can lie guilt, anger, fear, anxiety, resentment, sadness & pain along with a sense of feeling helpless and/or hopeless. You may suffer one, some, or all of these (or more) which can be very debilitating to your quality of life, personal relationships, and extend into other areas of your life in negative ways, if left unresolved. Let's work together.

My Background and Approach

I obtained my Masters degrees in Culture & Spirituality and Counseling Psychology/Marriage & Family Therapy. I have been practicing since 2007. I have been a bereavement coordinator/grief counselor in California and Hawaii hospices. In working with the living & dying in diverse cultures and populations, other issues can stem from grief; some from the past, others concern the future. Either way, grief has a way of opening you up (yes, it can feel raw). With the assistance of counseling it is an opportunity to [re]evaluate, [re]assess and [re]discover self, to mend, to heal. I work with individuals, couples, families, and facilitate groups, workshops & seminars. I use a variety of therapies and tools that are customized to you, to help you attain your goal(s) of emotional/mental relief (which can effect the other areas of your life positively, as well). I look forward to walking this path with you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Since high school, I wanted to be a counselor. Discouraged by the school counselor, "You're artistic, no scholastic", I did what she suggested. Years later (and tired of my career), I lost my twins at birth, for no particular reason. That was the most devastating and life changing experience for me on every level of my being (and no counseling). It also set the ground for me to become my true self: to become a counselor. I love helping, encouraging and supporting people, to hold a safe & sacred space where one can do the work that needs to be done, and to witness the becoming of that person's true self.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
