About My Clients
I am dedicated to helping adults heal from the symptoms and emotional distress of trauma. I also have experience working with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship with food, relationship with body, adoption and parenting issues, and other adjustment-related stressors.
My Background and Approach
I provide teletherapy services throughout the state of Iowa. I believe in compassionate care that focuses on personal growth and healing. I have been an EMDR Trained Therapist since April 2018, with additional training specific to virtual EMDR practice. EMDR is an extremely effective treatment approach that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR allows for the mind to heal from psychological trauma leading to a more authentic connection with self and improved genuine connection with others.
