Weekly process group for women with emotionally immature mothers. Goals: psychoeducation on growing up with an emotionally immature mother (narcissism, SA , shame, criticism, high expectations, volatility, dismissiveness); explore common symptoms in adulthood like shame, invisibility, low self-worth, people pleasing, codependency, reactivity, overworking, perfectionism; process role you want your mother in today; exploring themes of grief and acceptance; improve boundaries and self-advocacy.
