My goal - like Paul's - is to help defeat cognitive distortions, make behavioral adjustments, and teach self-control over emotions. I accept Insurance and self-pay utilizing platforms like Alma, Grow Therapy, and Headway. As a Solution-Focused Therapist, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and biblical resources in every therapeutic session. My Background and Approach
I am a Solution-Focused Therapist. This is generally a short-term, goal-oriented therapeutic approach that helps clients create solutions rather than dwelling on problems. Therapy with me will be more than talking things out. My counseling approach includes secular and faith-based therapeutic characteristics, drawing influence from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness approaches while utilizing Biblical resources in the therapeutic sessions. I am passionate about utilizing Biblical Principles. Helping my clients discover the secrets planted plainly before our eyes in scripture is energizing. I desire to create an open and safe environment to discuss your thoughts and feelings. This includes topics of faith that can be shared without fear of judgment. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the Bible is enough to help anyone willing to test its principles through the most challenging of times. I provide counseling services for clients who are seeking a professional therapist who recognizes God's role in the healing process, and I want it to be evident to my clients that I am a Christian. My goal is to help my clients discover the secrets of scripture written plainly for our instruction. When answers are lifted off the pages of God's love letter, it is energizingly freeing! The Bible is enough. Although I have been trained at a Master's Level by a University program and pursued a clinical license through Illinois and Missouri, I have learned that the Bible is the ultimate source for counseling through the toughest times.
